Terms of Purchase
1. Who these terms are with
These Terms of Purchase are between you and Dancing Sloth Games, operated by Haglo Limited of United Kingdom.
2. What you can buy
SlothSays is free to download with optional in-app purchases. The current options are:
- SlothSays Premium — Weekly: an auto-renewing subscription billed every week, unlocking all themes and categories.
- SlothSays Premium — Yearly: an auto-renewing subscription billed every 12 months, unlocking all themes and categories.
The price for each option, in your local currency, is shown on the in-app purchase screen (the “Paywall”) immediately before you confirm the purchase. Prices may vary by region and may change over time.
3. How billing works
- Store billing. All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store using the payment method on your Apple ID.
- When you are charged. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the moment you confirm the purchase, and (for subscriptions) again at each renewal.
- Taxes. The price displayed by Apple includes any sales tax or VAT applicable in your region.
4. Auto-renewing subscription terms
- Renewal timing. Apple typically charges the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Price changes. If we change the renewal price, Apple will notify you in advance and ask you to confirm the new price before any further renewal.
- Free trials & intro offers. If you accept a free trial or introductory price, the subscription will convert to the standard price at the end of the promotional period unless you cancel beforehand.
5. Managing and cancelling your subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time directly through Apple. Cancellation stops any future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period — you will keep your paid access until the period you have already paid for ends.
To cancel on iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap SlothSays, then tap Cancel Subscription.
You can also manage subscriptions on the web at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
6. Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Apple reviews each request individually under its Media Services Terms. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the SlothSays purchase you would like to report.
Where local consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to a refund (for example, your statutory rights under UK consumer law), those rights are not limited by these terms.
7. Restoring purchases on a new device
If you change devices or reinstall the app, sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase, install SlothSays, then open the in-app paywall and tap Restore Purchase. Access to paid content depends on Apple successfully validating your receipt.
8. Failed payments and suspension
If a renewal payment fails, Apple may retry the charge for a short grace period. If the payment cannot be completed, your premium access will be paused or ended until billing succeeds. We don’t access or store your payment details.
